Mayden announced today that SilverCloud Health will be the first service provider to offer access to online psychological therapies via Prism, the new referral hub built on iaptus.
Prism will allow professionals working within the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) programme to refer suitable patients to a range of services offered by online therapy providers, with data about the outcomes being sent directly back to the patient’s secure NHS record.
By offering clinicians the option to refer patients to online therapy it is anticipated that capacity issues and waiting lists could be dramatically reduced in clinics, while at the same time offering patients faster access to high quality online therapy services to accelerate their treatment and recovery.
